Elk Hunts in Wyoming
Thursday, December 24 2009
Fair chase hunting on private land in Wyoming, this is where I have taken several large bull elk and one of the best hunts in the country for success. Over the last 20 years this hunt has brought 95% success rate with 5 point elk or better. My best bull on this hunt is a 340 class bull and I have seen bigger. Infact one of the smaller bulls I shot there is on my backpack frame included on this website. Not everyone kills a huge bull but everyone will kill or shoot at a good bull. I have shot 3 bulls in the 300 class with the 4th being the 340 I mentioned. Top flight operation...
You will stay in small cabins or canvas tents with wood stoves. There is a main camp tent for eating and Pow-Wow time for the next days hunt. I like to think of this as a gentlemen's hunt, you can hunt hard or take it easy and you still get your animal. I recomend this for older hunters who still want to enjoy some trigger time. Archery hunts here are fantastic and again high success.
Normally this hunt is booked solid far ahead but this year you have a chance to go if you apply now for a state tag. The deadline with the state is January 30th 2010 but we need to prepare paper work by the 15th of January. So please call now if you want to discuss the details. If the 2010 season is coming to fast and you want to reserve a hunt for 2011 then we should look sooner than later. Time slips by and camp fills up!
Price for this fully guided hunt on private ground is $5550.00 with a better than 90% chance of taking home a nice bull elk.
