While it's perfectly clear in the pictures, I thought it would be worthwhile to note that this includes both male and female parts of the clip connector. So if you already have a harness, you'll not need the male portions of the connector. On the other hand, this set would allow someone to make their own harness or use these for attaching other items. Very handy. Would prefer if the split rings were a little smaller like ones that are used on compact cameras, but they are reasonably sized.
Great product, but paying $9.00 for two little connectors is crazy.

I recently bought the Rick Young binocular shock string harness at the Boise Idaho Sportsman Show. I have attached these to my Swarovski field glasses and the harness performed flawlessly.
