When up grading from a traditional neck strap to a harness, you need to attach your cover properly so it won't get lost.  Paracord eventually comes untied, plastic zip ties bind up when fitting the cover on and our hardware solves all of that.  Not to mention with a quick release you may remove your cover altogether with no effort at all. The tiny cord is amazingly strong and wins a tugawar contest with most anything.

    Lens cover attachment hardware

    Posted by Woodsdog2 on 3rd Aug 2020

If you think you want one, buy two!! The stock bino lens cover for my Stieners is a good cover but it attaches to their stock bino strap which is terrible. I got the lens cover attachment hardware and affixed it to the left side of my binocs and to the dual lens cover on the same side. Now the lens cover flips silently to the side and hangs down out of your way so your breath doesn't fog up your binos in the cold weather. When down, this rubber attachment system allows you to quickly and silently put your covers back on your bino eyecups so they don't get covered with snow or rain. Great, innovated product with the hunter in mind at all times. Silent, and tough. And you know the old saying two is one, one is none. You'll be dissapointed if you don't order more than one. I can't say enough about how well these products work!

    Lens Cap strap

I bought one as a solution to my lens cover always being in the way when glassing. I put it around the strap rather than through the ring and it slides away easily when taken off. Very happy with this.

I bought the lens cap rubber strap and am very happy with it. It works GREAT, and it was easy to install. I have several of Rick Young Outdoors products and I am very happy with all of them.
