Got one of these for my 8x32 Vortex. I was concerned that the thin cord might cut into my shoulders, but it doesn’t, and this is much less bulky than a regular binocular harness. The ease of adjustment is great, too.

the concept is great the execution needs work. Since half of this design is just shock cord and the other half is hardware, I need to give it 3 stars. The hardware you use rattles bad. Even when not attached to the binos if you shake each end individually you can hear the rattling. You need to eliminate the split rings and go with webbing and get better quick connects that have a tighter tolerance. Then you will have zero noise and a perfect product.
Nicholas: Thanks for you comments and here is what I would like to add. The rattle of the rings goes away with the weight of the binos and gravity not to mention the shock cord creates a slight pull when viewing. Try our rubber connection straps that replace the webbing and acts as a swivel where webbing cannot wind up. The "just Shock Cord" is a formula we make that last forever and hence the lifetime warranty on the cord. Robust! Give it a try I think you will find the system matches all the reviews posted. Great harness, very simple but flat out works!

Easy to attach to binoculars and benefits are as promised. I no longer have issues with my neck which I had from the regular binocular strap. Easy to don over layers as well!

I love this harness so far. Went many years without binos while hunting due to trying to stay minimalist. Got a pair over the spring and toyed around with two other options. Basic elastic strap harness and a punch style harness. Both were more bulky than I wanted to deal with and the pouch left me with a sweaty square on my chest. This ryo harness beats those hands down. The quick adjustment is outstanding and the different wearing options are great. I also appreciate the ability to wrap the harness around the binos for storage as well as the small profile if I choose to hang them from the tree in my deer stand. Only complaint is the plastic buckles have a little play in them if not hanging weight on them so they can rattle on movement. Most noticeable going from an overwrapped wear to standard harness. Shouldn't cause much of a problem but I'm a stickler for those kinds of noise. Marking it 4 stars as a result. 100% would buy again and recommend.
Trevor, -- Any noise you are hearing is from the metal split ring where it connects to your binos. Our Rubber connections straps eliminate the contact noise caused when you shake or rattle your binos. However if your harness is adjusted for a comfortable fit there is constant pressure eliminating this problem.

Great first impression!! simple to use.... Finally a bino harness that is not a fight to get into... Hanging my Swarovski El Range's on them.. Used them this past weekend for opener of TX rifle season... Performed flawlessly!! Headed to CO next week elk hunting... Great asset to my hunting gear...

When I purchased my first nice binoculars one week before I was leaving on a hunting trip, a friend recommended Rick Young's ultra-light bino harness . I knew my order was cutting it close but submitted it anyway, stating in the comments that I needed it by the weekend ahead of a big trip.
