When up grading from a traditional neck strap to a harness, you need to attach your cover properly so it won't get lost. Paracord eventually comes untied, plastic zip ties bind up when fitting the cover on and our hardware solves all of that. Not to mention with a quick release you may remove your cover altogether with no effort at all. The tiny cord is amazingly strong and wins a tugawar contest with most anything.

I would change the silver snap ring to black. And I would have an attachment from bino cover to bino frame as a constant without harness. Regards, Bruno
RYO- Thx Bruno, the ultra light cover has a connecting strap and the neoprene cover has a band that hugs your binos to keep it in place. We have tried to buy black split rings in USA and the added cost was extream. We will keep searching and in the mean time hit it with a black spray paint. Thanks RYO
I had previously been using a piece of twine to hold my bino lens cover in place. This integrates nicely with the rest of the harness.
Huge Upgrade from Zip ties !
I was scheming to make something exactly like this but just couldn't figure it out. So happy to see Rick Young did! It works exactly as intended. If you hunt without a bino pack, which I do, this is a must have to keep you ocular cover handy. I prefer hunting with binos exposed as I hunt in the east with no time allowed to remove binos from a back. Couldn't be happier with this product.
Function as intended.
Having this will make sure I never lose my lens cover. Bought a few as I found other uses for this device highly recommend if you are like me putting the cover down and forgetting where I left it.
Really like this- light, simple, strong, easily detached. Great bit of equipment.
